I upgraded thew propeller too and it gives it so much more power. Defiantly recommend this product.

I had a hard time getting it aloft and had some hard landings which seems to have affected performance of the props. Hope Nitro Planes gets some J-3 props in stock soon.

Exceed RC 3-Channel J3 Piper Cub EP Electric RC Airplane 100% Ready-to-Fly *New* THE BEST TRAINER!!!star rating 3JoeApril 12, 2011The plane was easy to build and looked like it would fly pretty good. the first time, i set on a long stretch of concrete but the plane flipped forward at the very beggining and wouldnt go straight gthe other times i tried. then when i tried hand lauching it, the plane couldnt even stay off the ground and crashed. After 3 times of throwing and crashing, the rear of the plane just broke and the plane wouldnt fly straight anymore. The last time it flew, i switched the flimsy propeller it came with with a more sturdy one from my P-51 mustang and it flew great until the crash where the bolt connecting the propelller to the engine snapped and the front of the plane broke off with the engine in it. I was very dissapointed because it wouldnt fly anymore and i wasted $70. still, it was fun while it lasted.

I broke the nose and the back part of the plane all it takes is glow and tape and let it dry but then its ready to fly. the landing gear will tern/move up and down but that is easy to move back in place. buy skys for winter. the plane will not fly/take off on the ice i tride it and it did not work and i broke a prop from it. still havent got prop because there out of stuck.
