ARF-Versionstar rating 5MikeMarch 20, 2011Great plane, I converted mine to electric for a clean look. This plane flies great mainly like a trainer with some sport in it. Retracts work well I cahnged the nose gear for fear of it failing, you can see my vid on youtube for details. Do think it could use flaps due to it loooong glide slope, it does'nt want to land!

I agree with gazzazh,get some high quality retracts and you will be all set.I would buy this one again,especially at this price,even knowing that I'd have to replace the gear.I still give it 4 stars.

If you decide to build it you MUST follow the T-34 build at rcheadz.com ALL of the IMPORTANT must know build instructions are there. THEY ARE NOT IN THE MANUAL! The retracts required a little work including having to replace the nose retract w/ a hobbico part which fit nicely and eliminated that horrible pull pull stearing system. Nice covering on the model, and well built solid construction. the assembly instructions are crude at best, so i wouldnt recommend this arf as a first build.

ARF-Versionstar rating 5gazzazhApril 30, 2010This is a great kit, the only problem is with the nose retract, does not seem to hold very well, so if you are planning to get one, invest some extra on a good mechanical retract for the nose gear.
